It feels like a decade since the last update on my collection in here. Time for some fresh pictures of my most recent buy at least! Trivia: It's my first Sony!
I like the looks, reminds me of my Sharp GF-525 - which admittedly is superior to the Sony CFS-F5S in both technics and design.

Condition is pretty good, it really has only very minor flaws. Antenna tip is missing, contacts need a little cleaning and the logic-tape-control is not fully working.
It won't eject the tape (you have to use the manual eject lever on the side of the box) and unfortunately it won't unpause again. If it wasn't for that it would play tapes just fine
A funny feature is the ability to hide the tape control buttons, althugh it's a little pointless and probably a weak point for wear and tear.
Soundwise the Sony disappointed me a little. You'd expect a little more from a boomer of this format. Although the low weight hints on its limited capabilities.
It's a nice looking unit but nothing to impress people out on the streets
