Si i think was just time to got one of those beauty. Love the sony design from that era. Simple and stylish. Not big on sond , but not bad at all too. Its covering 50% of my idea of collecting just dark boomers lately  . Yea and of course no "no visible in the dark" needle VU's . Stunning long and nice LED VU's like most of the top line sony's from that time. 100% complete. Sadly after half hour of listening to the tape the belt finally surrender  . Will fit new. Really happy about this acquisition  . And of course the grills will collect dust alone. No way to keep em hiding this beauty behind em  .

Great box! Would look even better if you rubbed Armor-All onto the front black sections.

:-D :-D I also have a beautiful CFS-85S.  It's in amazing condition with no scratches anywhere! I'll post pictures soon. I love the speaker covers and how it sounds. I love it! This is one among my 3 woody boomboxes. The other ones are Pannies. :-D

These are among the classiest boxes ever made!

I love the mechanical sound it makes when you eject a cassette/push the cassette door in!

Congratulations!
