I picked this up about 12 yrs ago, I was working in an audio/appliance shop and a customer brought it in for service. I knew what it was and wanted one ever since they came out back in '90/'91. Made a offer with the customer and came home with my new/used stereo system. As you can see it is not in the best of shape, the surface finish has marks and some sort of residue on it that I can't get off, markings on the buttons are worn also. The cd transport works about 30% of the time, cassette units do not function at all. This was the best IMO that Sony offered stateside with full-logic cassette, high-speed cd-to-tape dubbing, alarm (by source), sleep timer, 2-way speakers, and full function remote control...........
