I just received this Sony cfd-5 from US. Sound quality is awesome. I test it on few of my cd's with bass music, hip hop and instrumental electronics. It sounds great even on my heavy metal cd by Iced Earth, when others average boomboxes, sounds not so good on metal music. :-)

And yep it's a full logic deck and a nice sounding one at that. Lot's of punch in a small package. :-D

I adore it a lot, there is a lot of chrome and every detail is polished. I like square speakers a lot, especially these with woofer, real tweeter ( not just a plate of metal like 99 percent of my boomboxes) and a bass reflex port on the bottom! :-D

This is what I am using for changing voltage from 110V to 230V, 1969 made in Poland. :-)

I can get a cheap Sony cfd-5, but it is missing speaker wires, power cord, and rear speaker wire bracket wrap around chipped on 1 speaker.

Hi, it was at an estate sale I attended on saturday.
I will try to go back and get it on monday if it is still there.
I dont know if anything works, theres no power cord for it.

cfd-5 is one of two of my best cd boomboxes.
:-D I am trying to chase another one., and another one for my best friend's office.
