It measures about 21" wide, 14" tall, and 5" deep. Weighs a hefty 17 pounds without batteries. The side panels are real wood, not decals. The speaker grilles are cloth. It looks like a classic pair of 1970s home speakers. The whole unit is a bit grimy and could use a cleaning. The battery compartment is clean. The power cord looks original. It has world switchable power. Line inputs, built in mics and more. I plugged it in and found that it works. I was able to get some FM stations and the tape player works. The sound is good. Sound comes out of only the left channel when playing the radio. A cool and rare piece of audio history. Great to add to your collection. Thanks for looking.

Very nice, the wood sides and clean cloth grille front make it a very classy looking box.

Haven't had any luck yet but I'd like to add a wood side (even fake wood) box to my collection someday.

And IN the box too! :w00t:

It's essentially a CF-570 but with home-audio type trimmings. The CF-570 has hard grills (instead of cloth) and sans wood sides making it better suited for portable use. I imagine the cloth grill wouln't hold up well if carried around frequently.

Love the looks though.

Also known in Japan as the ZILBA'P CF-6600... Would love to eventually get one to go with my ZILBA'P CFS-V8...

Very beautiful box and rare in a sense (you're the 1st Boomboxery member to own one  )...

That said, take great care of it and enjoy it!

Get it for the looks, the sound is "good" at best. ;-)

That box you speak about also has one antenna instead of two. ;-)

Talk about being a stripped down version... :-D

LOVE it!

I think I prefer it to my ZILBA'P, the needle meters are a much nicer aesthetic than the LED meters on mine.

Well done, Yuri! You've got a bona fide classic right there.

Rock On.
