I'm expecting my new radio to be all original with old belts, and rollers, etc.

I bet there are a few things I should do and proper liquids/cleaning things I will need to do the jobs.
I assume since the tape decks work then the belts and rollers are ok?

Might be nice to get an owners manual, (Service manual?) and the demo stickers for the front of the box.

Hoping to get this box looking and working as new and as clean as possible.!

I'm not expecting to have anyone to spoon feed me the whole process.

Just steer me into the right spot.

BluFuzz did and awesome 777 rebelling pdf which I used to do mine and guided me perfectly, Super duper also did some amazing 777/767 decals which look amazing when professionally printed. Some deoxit f5 and you are good to go.

Let’s make sure and hope that this monster turns up undamaged first and foremost.
That’s half the battle. The rest will be fairly straightforward.

This series of sharp boomboxes will always be one of the best and most badass looking radios I've ever seen.
I remember the first time I saw run DMC pictured with the 767 I was slobbering over with hat box.

I love the look too Floyd. I think I might have liked the JVC M90 more though.

But the grass is always greener. If I had the M90 I would be thinking about the Sharp. LOL

Great T-STER, The decals look nice. I'll do the plain one not the Rum DMC ones...........To bad they didn't have Iron Maiden decals. I'd do those.
And I'll buy a can of that deoxit f5, Thank you.

Update: He sent me 2 video's of the radio working. And speaks on them while running though a few things on the radio. Sounds like a great guy.

It does.

Just sent me another vid of it being wrapped in 2 layers of sheet foam and 3 layers of bubble wrap.
Lots of tape.
Now he's doing corners, extra cardboard over the front, then double box with lots more tape.

Yeh they need stupid amounts of protection. Doesn’t take much of a corner knock to destroy it. Needs a huge crumple zone around it. Sounds like he’s on the right path tho :-)
