Here's a few quick photos of my new SANYO MR-X920. Have a friend in Japan who's keeping his eyes open for boomboxes for me, this is the first to arrive. It's in pretty good shape. Tape deck is not operating but I haven't opened it up to find out what's going on. Also need to get that beautiful green tuner light working, and the power switch is always on. But the audio quality is excellent and cosmetically she's a supermodel. I'll get some more photos up when I get the hang of my camera.

awesome box , you have to push in and twist the tuner light button to make it stay on or turn counter clock wise to turn it off.. otherwise it just comes on when you push the button.

Gorgeous :yes: the light is probably blown bulb, the deck probably needs belts and tires cleaned good...because of belts on the deck being bad its stuck in sleep mode and that's why power switch is always on. ;-)

Thanks! Just tried pushing the button in and turning and it worked! Now she's glowing bright and green!

Thanks Bill. When it's in sleep mode, does the deck get any power at all? Currently there's no response when I press any of the deck buttons or AMSS buttons.

Thanks guys! Really digging this box, especially now that the tuner light is working. Got to get some snaps of that, too. I've got the belts on order, I'm going to open her up when those come in to see if I can get the deck operational again.

Deck is pretty complicated, lots of parts to get to belts. Take plenty pictures ;-)
