I was dusting off the radio's in my "Man-cave" and decided to take a picture. It can sometimes be very difficult to decide which radio to listen to. At the moment I have 17 in this room all plugged in so I rotate several throughout the day. My wife often gets pissed because I do volume tests to listen for crackles or busted speakers...and I crank them up loud... ...I got very lucky as all my boxes are in excellent shape and the speakers are near perfect in them all. Anyway it was 103 in Antioch today so I was indoors jamming all day...I found an old box of cassette tapes and was jamming all day!!... :-D

I don't see ANY small wimpy boxes here.

Melly -- to make sure you don't get spoiled......
You need to sell all the good stuff, start off fresh and experience all the beginner cheapo broken boxes.
THEN once you have done that, you will have perspective and...
THEN you will have a newfound respect for what you currently have, for your collection could be far far worse, and you could be eating staple instead of sipping the cream. :-O :w00t:

...the Panny can hang with everything in the room except for the FH-207...it's sound is beyond explanation. the FH-207 would make the stiffest audiophile listener smile...put it this way, it puts the Tele Studio to shame!!

...you are right that I am very lucky and feel spoiled with all these great boomers. I give credit to this site for my good fortune because I would not have a majority of these boxes were it not for Boomboxery...as for selling them all and starting over...   ...besides Norm you are partly to blame for my current grail obsession...visiting your house is like sending a crackhead to Columbia...

What's the box between the M90 and the Rising20/20?
It's huge.............

...that is a Prosonic PQR 9962. That bad boy is commonly refered to as a poor mans M90. It has excellent sound, solid deep bass, and clean highs. It is one of my favorites.

Taco: the M9994 is a must for any collector. I feel it is the best sounding mid-size box and is my favorite for indoor listening.

Mono: thanks, and I agree the Kaboom is so ugly it would have ruined the shot!

That is kick ass! Nothing like listening to some old tapes on a day when you have nothing better to do. :breakdance:
