My Sony TAN-15F power amp and TAE-20F preamp with Marantz EQ351 eq and my Nakamichi BX300E

The Sony was off ebay in 2005 and the Nak I got in a second hand shop somewhere in Ealing, Boston Manor, I think in 2000.

Sony Falcon  not the best pre, what's the power amp like? I had the SA-20F active speakers, cassette deck and pre, the pre was sold and the active speakers had both the ribbons dead  unable to fix them as the diaphragms were trashed. Re-purposed the active amps to make two small mono blocks. I still have the cassette deck for this series in storage, it's built like a tank

On a side note, the SA-20F drivers were a flat surface that was rumored to be the precursor to the APM speakers

Tshorba the amps ok. It sounds quite lively and drove my speakers well (loud) Just has it repaired for the second time in a year. It came to me in a bit of a state I think it lived in a nicotine factory.

Its currently a spectator as it appears to be fussy about the speakers its works with

My inlaws have the falcon pre and power, with matching cassette, and tuner and they are all mint. They just dont want to part with them
