Hmm, looks like a good deal for the buyer. Somehow I don't think the seller is going to be too happy with the price though.

Yup, I was right. Supposedly, the grandchild dropped it or it broke hours after auction ends.

Years ago, you could leave feedback on a transaction if it was cancelled by the seller. These days, apparently, there is no option to leave feedback on a transaction even if you didn't agree to the cancellation. It's as if the transaction never existed. I guess there's no longer a need to keep a block list. Because now, if you decide NOT to sell to any member or if the price is not high enough to your liking, just cancel it and the buyer has no recourse. It never happened. If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound? Apparently not, lol.

Feedback is worthless and can be manipulated by favorable sellers. If you read between the lines you can get an idea but no-one has time for it these days.

Yeah. This kind of stuff makes an online "auction" not an auction. At a real auction there are no safety nets and there really shouldn't be online either.

I sold a small item and listed it free postage, trying to make it good value for the buyer. Item was lost in transit so I gave buyer full refund. Buyer left negative feedback. Lesson learned.

That's a nice box. Would have been quite a good deal.
I would say only about one-third of people leave feedback for me. No matter if it's a buyer or seller. 10+ years ago almost everyone left feedback. People have gotten lazy, selfish, or maybe distracted by all the other notifications on their phone.
