Should I buy this Intersound J-747s Super Jumbo for $200?

I was originally going after a Promax for 120, but that offer ended. I found another one that is in poorer visual condition. Deck B cover, two EQ sliders and one aerial are missing. The salesman states that only the right channel works, but from the image it looks like both channels are getting power since the lights are flashing. He also states that Deck B "works reluctantly, you have to aid it with your hand", Deck A works fine, and that the potentiometers need cleaning. I think that means it's having issues with opening and closing.

I bought alot of beat up boxes. I made the experience that missing parts are expensive. Especially important parts like tape doors that, when missing, affect the appearance of the whole box. Even antennas are hard to come by. You might end up buying a donor box for the same price as the first one.

I don't know what the Promax go for normally and if that is a good price for that condition. Just my two cents on missing parts in general.

Now it all depends on the price, 120 USD is an ok price in my opinion ... and they are quite easy to work on , like replace belts and cleaning the pots ... i fixed up 2 of those already and they are not too difficult to get back up and running ... if you get it , reach out here if you have issues and we can all help you fix it up
