Aren't those shipping dates given before the auction is even over? I thought I always seen the estimate timing during auctions, but of course they are just the estimated times. I wouldn't sweat that... but....
I would sweat the person not getting back to you. When I win an auction, I pay immediately, contact them regarding my packaging requirements and make sure we avoid damage drama, but of course also start communication. Sometimes I guess I haven't heard back, but I have seen a tracking # within a few days, if I had neither for over a week I would be worried. But that's just my take.
And assuming this was for the $46 Pioneer SK-550, at least you aren't waiting on a $910+ purchase on a Lasonic 931 like someone apparently just paid.
sSpeaking of bad packaging. Below is what I just found on my step. I might've forgot to contact this seller as the box was a cheap price and I think I was more worried about a few others I spent more on at the time. But somehow this terrible wrapping job of paper over a folded/shaped box and bubble wrap made it just fine, then I've had others that are packed rather good and just get killed.
Actually in better condition than I thought. A bit on the small side for me, but i think it was a good price. I'm a sucker for white woofers.
