Worked a little on this Lasonic today... Auto stop not working so had to repair it. Now works like a charm

I've picked up a bit of skill in electronics since I've started this hobby.
But not enough to fix cassette mechanism malfunctions. It would be nice to have that skill.
This model of Lasonic is a beauty. It's not too flashy but loaded with style.

Actually I had done belts on this one but never checked to see if auto stop worked ( been doing it on several of my boxes). Turns out it was missing the plastic bar that pops down when in play. There was a metal bracket that swiveled to stop play mode once at end of tape. So I checked my part decks and found the plastic tab, but I had rework both the metal bracket and tab to work properly. Once done a couple drops of super glue to hold it in place and it works like a charm See pics....The tab has red arrow
