Sharp VZ front plastic replacement

Hi All

I’m currently restoring a Sharp VZ2000 (well hopefully 2 if I manage to find or make all the damaged parts).
I have already repaired the front case which was badly damaged and cracked, respraying and also reproducing all decals (see my other posts for details).
I have now turned my attention to the front clear plastic panel. I have seen these polished but one of mine was too far gone for that. So have set about fabricating a new one. I decided to have a go using tinted Perspex.
I have made 2, One has the holes the other currently blank. I‘ve tried to faithfully replicate the original as accurately as possible (apart from the tinted plastic). all in all I am pretty pleased with the outcome. The joins on the second one (without holes) I think came out slightly better.

Thanks. I found that a diamond blade tile cutter worked work for cutting the Perspex.
