love it ! aside from the m90 the vz 2000/2500 are my favorite boxes.

Welcome to the VZ club!
Those boxes are unique and have an awesome sound in my opinion.
You can crank them up very loud!
And the tunrtable with 2 needles is just
VZs rock and I actually prefer the 2500 rather than the 2000

Hey, I think I've asked this before but bare with me, do VZ's work with batteries? And if so, can I carry it around while playing an LP??? (maybe bypassing the bottom switch that mmcodomino told me it has)?

They run on 10 D-cell batteries and you can bypass the switch for sure.
But I do not think that would be good for the record or for the unit , it would skip I think, records do not have a lot of support in those VZs...
