hi everyone, stripped out the speakers on my VZ to clean them, took back off and foam stuffed inside, plus on the front behind the grill you can see 4 rectangular holes, i thought these did something.......i was wrong......take a look
the boxes in the vz 2000 are vented through tiny holes in the back speaker cover where the round part is ,there is some black cloth covering the holes .
the foam was there when i took the backs off, so sharp has fitted it, i once has a Grundig radio that sounded great, took it apart one day and found a cardboard tube inside that the sound traveled down, sounded rubbish without it.
