Hi Guys,

i have recently acquired a Sharp HK 9000 - which ios in reasonable condition

We have an Underground BBoy party happening in Sydney on a private beach with music being supplied by a pirate radio- - so we need to bring the noise

being unhappy with the quality of the old speakers I have aquired some kicker ks600 which I will swap out - this will double the price of the unit - from 109 Aussie Dollars but I am sure will make a huge difference.

I am missing the decals play ffw rew etc on both tape decks - and am keen to also PIMP it as much as possible from a looks perspective

I have limited time and budget - but keen to quickly hear all ideas you guys may have

Hey welcome aboard your gonna love this site!! :hi:
I too have an HK-9000 and have modded the speakers as well with a set of MB Quarts. Sound is way more punchier and the highs are off the hook. Like the rest of the guys on this site (as you will learn like I did) will help you out with some of the best advice and tech help available. If you need any help with your current mods don't hesitate to ask me or anybody else. If your not going to do anything with the speakers in the radio after you remove them I'll gladly to take them off your hands. Look at my pictures of the mod. It came out real good. Enjoy that big radio cuz its hot in my opinion!! Jr!

Awesome!!! As long as there are no rips I'm cool. I used hot glue stick gun to make the tweeters stay in place. I also glued the crossovers to the bottom of the speaker enclosure. Good luck and don't hesitate to ask any and all questions. Jr
