Never was a 9393 as far as I know, seems odd. Maybe Sharp designed one and never released it.

If they did design a 9393 and never released it, I'd seem to think that it would be in the thread:

Love the 9696. One "grail" I am still searching for.

As a side note, I love the fact you have your kids involved with the boomboxes. Give us "old guys" hope that future generation will appreciate boomboxes as much as we do
