Thanks to tshorba I have a new Sharp GF555 addition to my growing family, here's a couple of pics taking advantage of a beautiful winters day here in Queensland. (I'll write up my very positive buying experience with tshorba in another thread).

Just as an aside, I recommend these boxes as street warriors, they are built like tanks, they are loud enough, and they weigh a ton.

those are cool looking boxes , they could be used as props on the original battlestar galactica , those and the rising 20/20 look like they were made for use by the cylons  , awesome boxes  .

How do they sound though? I was offered one of these a while back. Not crazy about the design. I'm used to seeing the speakers with it's chrome caps showing through. Great collection none the less though.

I have GF-666, which is pretty close to GF-555. I love it - it's pretty excellent as far as sound quality. Not too heave on bass though - but overall it's really good! It sounds much better than the GF-9696 I used to have!
