Brothers and Sisters,

Here are some pics of a Sharp GF-999 that I just finished restoring.

Unfortunately I don't have any "before" pics, but it was a mess when I got it--it was filthy, the decks were not working, there was no sound from the left channel, the dust caps from the two center woofers were gone, and plenty of other problems.

Now it's nearly fully operational, the only problems are very muffled recordings, left headphone jack not working, and the left VU needle is slightly out of alignment.

This is my first major restoration and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Both decks are now fully functional, running strong on brand new belts. The sound is amazing, it really cranks and puts out plenty of bass through the subs.

Hope you guys like it!

If this is your first resto job then you are already as good as many of us veterans. Well done!

Thanks guys!

I've cleaned up a few boomers before this, but this one was by far my biggest and most involved job.

Also, forgot to mention that I'll be selling this soon. Now that it's done it's time to move on. If anyone's interested, keep an eye on the "For Sale" section, I'll be posting it up there this week.
