Just took delivery of one of a sharp gf 9191e, just wondering if £102 was a fair price would welcome your veiws ...IMG_20140812_195954.jpg

Love the 9191...one of my faves!

As for value...you'll get a million different opinions...if you're happy with it that's all that matters.

May I just add I forgot to say, it came with a user manual and everything works fine, cosmeticly its near to mint. So well happy...

I'm a big fan of the GF's...they scream classic boomer to me. I've a few but I'd never get rid of my 9191...it's my only boombox with a name...he's called Bob...feck knows why, but the whole family know who Bob is lol

Bob lol, I think if I were to call mine something it would be something along the lines of charlize after the actress Charlize Theron, shes hot and sexy like my 9191 lol...

The 9191 was the first box I got to see in the flesh and lusted after it for ages until I got one. Always loved the style of it and would have another in a heartbeat. Congrats monrme69 :-)

If it's working and has the manual and looks to be in good shape then the price is not too outrageous.

Enjoy the box.

US prices gouge us buyers often. Kinda sucks really. I love the German finds. Good prices. But the down fall is shipment. % risk is high of damaged goods.

Big fan of the GF9191 as like everyone says the look is classic boombox, great score mate given condition and manual, well done.

You just need to make a deck decal like the one I knocked up and it will be complete ;-)

Thanks nice box, but I like them without just my preference, thanks for the advice.

Apology up front for this entry being a bit off-topic but I thought I'd just add that my decal is not stuck on but simply held on with the deck thumbscrews, so you can easily have best of both worlds i.e. remove for use or replace for display ... I realise it's not to everybody's taste and it was more an experiment on my part ... made from cutting out the printed decal and then through a laminator to create a full deck width clear rectangle that I made holes in for the deck screws to hold it in place - food for thought - I'll shut up now ;-)
