Just commin from a 200kms round short trip to visit a friend of mine who figured out to take this box for me. It was a really strange story - posted on one VW forum for sale ( i have a baja bug but never posted there) and the seller was holding the price high and kind of refused to sell it to non well known forum member. The problem is that from a few years they are using old boomers when have some VW festivals just for "show up" and some members there have grails in possession 
. Anyway some friends of mine gave him a few calls and one of them made a appointment to see the box. The seller is selling other electronics and have sold some 777s earlier so knew the value and told me straight - "must make some cash from resellin this beast". Nothing wrong whit that actually. Anyway my friends visited him and turned up that one of them know him and this dude seller owe him some cash 
. So they got some deal and the blaster came whit my dude . He left the very same day to the seaside and i was waiting a few days for him to come back. Was talkin whit him a few times and he told me - dude i have one old boomer on pieces in my garage too and you can have it for free of course. it turned up to be some partspender Akai AJ500Fl for which i needed spare parts . The GF 9000 is fully workin, just aerial is broken and needs a general cleaning and some spraying. The top of the speaker select knob is missing too but cant complain 
. Was reading that some people dont like the sound of this behemoth 
Its not bad at all IMO tho, i like it 
And yes - i have a LED fetish but this monster have really cool needle VUs. Love em. And the colors are not faded So how cool is to have workin, complete GF 9000 and a partsender which i needed
