My friend has just acquired this tiny but neat little Sharp GF-8E, fully working condition just missing the plate over the front of the cassette bay and snapped counter reset. Runs perfectly on batteries but he would like to run it off the mains when in use.

Is there a recommended DC 9V UK adaptor available from somewhere trustworthy or will any off ebay suffice, manual states 9v 500mA max. Thanks.

To be honest Mark, I just use a adapter with a changeable end and with different voltage output selector but if you go for a set terminal adapter make sure you match the centre to either negative or positive as the box requires. According to the image, the centre is tethered to the minus so make sure you buy an adapter the same.

Thanks Docs, that's what I was looking at getting but was unsure what connector I need out of the ones that came with it would you have the time to put a link up or a photo of the correct type it needs?
Thanks, Mark.
