As you may know the Tweeters in these Sharp boxes tend to fall apart if you touch them, the little board that the wires are soldered to comes off.
I have successfully repaired one
I did this by hacking out the plastic part in between where the two wires come through, I then soldered a single strand of wire to the tiny bit of wire left poking out.
I then carefully put the piece of plastic back and glued it all with epoxy.
On my other box I did not have as much luck and could not locate one of the tiny wires, must have snapped inside so I replaced them with these in the pictures.
I glued 4 pieces of plastic onto the original tweeters mounts and then mounted the new tweeters on top of them with double sided tape and secured them with the large headed screws.
My box with the replacements seems to sound marginally better than the one with originals but there's not much in it.
