Sharp GF-777, both Vu meters stoped working.

Both Vu meters stopped working and don't register any reading. Any sugestion?

1st off is that with all functions? Radio, tape, line in and record?

My guess is a bad switch. When I hit the battery/light toggle on my triple-7-zee sometimes the left meter would die on me until I wiggled the switch. Try some cleaner spray & work the switch a couple of times. If it doesn't clear up try looking for loose wires inside. Otherwise, you have to troubleshoot it the hard way.
