Only problem with changing a color like that is that there is no way to mask off the legends so they'are all gone, although I imagine with the original lettering likely having been in japanese in the first place, it's no big loss.

Mmmmm.......

Matt black....Very 'Stealth-Bomber' looking to me.

Liking the red cones, but I hope that you didn't pull apart a perfectly good VZ just to get that effect!

To be honest with you though, I am not sure how VZ speakers would react in another box. VZs aren't that well known for their bass depth, yet they can have a tight punchy bass.

Let us know how this box sounds when re-asembled, and whether there is an improvement in sound, reduction of sound performance, or surprisingly, should it happen........No noticeable difference.

.........So I wonder what the VZ would sound like with 575 speakers in it?

Something to think about, there. :)

.
i pulled apart my project VZ to get that speakers.....the output of both VZ/GF-575 speakers are similar...
the main difference is the body of the bbx itself ....because the speakers of the VZ is sealed and filled with acoustic frabic,
so the VZ can produce awesome bass
and the amp unit of the GF-575 isn't that strong so it's almost the same after i re-asembled it with the Red cones~

Looks KILLER Henry! I love how many parts are swappable on Sharps.
Lots of hot combinations to come up with.

Rock On.

:nonono: the amp unit is ..... ......so it remains the same after i install the VZ's red cones,
and the grills will hide the red cones so i prefer to keep the woofers nake~ :hmmm:
