Recently restored Sharp VZ2000. I bought this from a local Craigslist seller who needed Christmas gift money for her kids. She inherited it from her Grandfather after he passed away. He was the original owner, and took great care of it. It needs a power issue figured out, and Member Caution is currently working on that. After I installed fresh belts and a thorough cleaning, I installed Sharp VZ2000 Red drivers, and Red Lasonic tweeters. I topped it off with an original Sharp Optonica Demo album (1982). From what I've gathered, the VZ2000s sold in the USA were Sliver & Black themed. The ones sold in Europe, and Asia regions were Red & Blue. I've wanted a Red & Blue version to go with My Sliver one but, this will do. The Silver, Red & Black colors look pretty cool together. I was running out of daylight for the final pics. I will add better pics later. Hope You all like it.

Jeeze man, it took me forever to figure out the first pic! I never pulled mine apart, so I didn't realize that was the front case leaning against vinyl siding sitting on a milk crate.. :hmmm:

I see what You mean now. It was sitting on a red milk crate, leaning back against the patio wall. That VZ2000 PDF file full restoration really helps.

Looking good. I can't believe how massive these are. Nice upgrade on the woofs.

I bet this thing is a wonder to watch it operate. Same thing with older jukeboxes and such. The show has gone away. Part of enjoying these things was to watch the moving parts. All the fun is gone these days
