i have received my new box!!!

its cheap o plastic black box and i love it!!!!

sorry for the bad quality photos but im poor snif....

its quite nice in fact !!! not as well built as the hitachi , of course... but i like it

hey , and its sound quality is pretty good, yes, the ics are TWO separate TOSHIBA's

(TA), and the build quality is not bad... its kinda big...

walking around with this will be fun...

its very loud, and no distortion in sight.

( i never pull my boxes to the max though, kinda 8 .scale)

nice station pullin, but it has a kind of alc always on that locks out weaker stations, that i dont like,

but its better for overall recepction. AM is also cool, and and that time SW wasnt on, the propagation was closed.

nice AM tone. tape sounds very good. also i dubbed tapes, and it works good with no noise addition.

very well done. also the equalizer works and is spot on frequencies!!!

very nice, it has no loudness, but the EQ does work and is helpfull.

also tried the MIKE over the music or radio and its fun!!! i like the ECHO part...

havent tried the PHONO ins, but its cool overall.

the VU's work, very bouncy and LOUD, coolio !!!

works on 8D's btw.

overall a good box, kinda 3.7 out of 5 stars.

Do the tape decks work? Looks kindof like the Sharp GF, HK models.

everything is working on this one...

Deck B is just a little bit bassier than deck A,

just a fine tune on the heads id say, but maybe its so close i will pass for the while.

all functions are working , rew, cue, paws , etc.

it even has SLEEP, wow!!! put the tape on,

turn OFF ( SLEEP ) , put on radio,

press play

when it comes to the end of the tape ( no autoreverse ),

it turns itself off.

Recording also works, as dubbing.

I just tested and it had good quality.

Looks like a really killer 3 piece! Does it have disco lights in the speakers too?
Quite a few 3 pieces that have 'disco light' written on them have an array of
LED's dotted around the speaker drivers. Might be a switch hidden somewhere
to activate them too.

No "really" discolites.
Those are 2 LED added to the speakers.

hey, roman, youre right, but mine blinks a bit, its not too bad,

maybe i can pump the light a bit more, but its cool like it is, not very dark.

i will MAYBE do small mods on the box.

i am not very keen on modding stuff thats already good.

hey rick! no its not really discolite,

and like rome said, it goes up with the volume automaticly,

its not too bad!!! kinda funky!!!

maybe some more light pimpin in the future!!
