Hi forum, Does anyone have experience with chrome paint.i have never painted plastic before. I really need advice on what products to use for the best results. I am in process of trying to make this old beast shine again

Depends what kind of part you're painting. If it's just small parts, you can use the stuff SLO used in his thread about DJ Tech Boombox dustcaps.
But the entire box? It would look bad. Even vinyl wrap probably wouldn't work very well on some boxes like the GF9191 with those fine grooves running between the woofers.

I work in the coatings industry with over 29 years of R&D experience. There is no good chrome paint out there that works. They all get tacky and make a mess. Rustoleum had one that worked somewhat decent, but I don't recommend it.
