Scored an rc-550jw

I just picked up a jvc rc-550jw. It has a non-orig antenna, and the handle is broken, but otherwise it looks pretty decent. It has a strap, but it looks non-original as well. I only saw one completed auction on ebay. Any idea what range these big things go for?

added pictures and listened to it for a while. This thing sounds great! I think JVC is like BMW and vastly underrates it's products. This thing is loud! After looking at the strap again, it looks like it may be original. It is sewn around one side, and the other side is adjustable and loops around the mount. Anybody here know what an original strap on these looks like?

I'm really diggin this one. It looks like a monster, even on top of my panasonic rx-cs780. I opened it up today to see how the antenna attaches, and it looks much different than normal boxes. A clip hold it in. I'm guessing that replacing the handle is impossible.

The birthdate on the motor reads May 1980. This is a real classic

yup, it has 3 shortwave bands, and AM is labeled "MW"
