Then, as I'm leaving I spy a Panasonic DT-690 in mint condition.

FOR $10 BUCKS!!!!

Pretty tidy pickup for $30 AUD!

Kissed store Girl and left feeling very happy!!

Really, a Pawn shop? I asked several years ago in some of my local pawn shops and they just about laughed me out of the stores, basically saying they don't accept old crap like that.

it was a while ago when this happened plus this pawn shop sells vintage stuff as well as modern and some old skool car audio man that place is awesome iv'e been buying from them for 20 some years.

I have the Ward version of that box.Its a real tank with excellent build quality.If you can,please play something with heavy bass and tell me if it sounds tight.Mine (and one belonging to someone else I know) makes a soft flutter sound when heavy bass notes hit.I want to know if its a design flaw.(perhaps less than robust woofers).
