Picking up tonight, for free, a Technics component stack with turntable, amp, tuner, dual cassette and for me personally the crowning jewel - a Toshiba XR-J9 CD player. The reason the Toshiba is special to me is it is actually the very first piece of audio electronics I ever bought with my own money as a young wage slave back in the mid-80's. I had it running through a Mission Cyrus One amp and a set of Mission speakers and I loved that setup.
After the zero scores from the charity shops yesterday, I ran an WTB add on a local community Facebook page that I'm a member of. Within minutes, a guy messaged me, said if I wanted this hifi stack for free all I had to do was go and collect it. I'm picking up at 8 PM today, can't wait !!
