Sanyo speaker upgrade

This Sanyo M988 is not a high end box. It has a small transformer compared to higher end mid size boxes but like the street boxes of its time, it was made to use the box itself to create the bass. I upgraded the speakers with some Lasonic speakers that had matching ohm and now it thumps like a Lasonic.

Very cool, haven't seen that one before. I like that "EXP" badge, is that from a Ford? Funny, I remember thinking those EXP's were sporty, but in reality they were nothing more than a 2-seat Escort.

Really cool looks high end to me! I love how the red, black and chrome go so well together did you add the strap clips?

I love what You did to Yours. I might need to do an upgrade speaker swap as well for mine.

The strap loops are from Home Depot
The stick on chrome letters are from Pep Boys
and I cut a piece of plexiglass for the cassette door because it came with no cover to the door.
