Not quite a boombox, but I decided to clean this while I had the Panasonic drying.

An interesting fact, the ferrite antenna is massive.

Here's a video of it after I cleaned it. It looks dirty but that's just the paint gone weird. Even weirder was the French station I picked up.

These are neat little radios. I have a Panasonic RF-2600 similar to the Sanyo that needs an antenna, but it still picks up stations just fine. I'm really digging the radio dial on scrolls. What the heck!

If you ever happen to find another antenna like that one, please let me know. I might be able to use it in the Panny.
