Sanyo MT 4240

I just bought this Sanyo MT 4240. Unfortunately it doesn't work properly, and as I have no idea how to fix it, I will have to return her.
So I hadn't bothered to clean her... at least took some pics.
It's incredibly heavy, and I love the proportions!

If anyone knows a place in berlin to get her fixed, let me know

Incredible! Never seen such model.."STEREO natural fidelity" is a nice and original detail! :]. IMO it is missing only some nice speaker surrounds. Too bad, they are oval shaped.

While oval speakers are not the ideal, there is no reason why they can't sound good if designed properly, and paired with real tweeters.

I always did like that model. Still haven't found one affordable enough for my tastes though.

Maybe I don't send her back, if I can fix the problems.
I have no expereince and electronic knowledge, maybe anybody can give me hints?
These are the problems:
- tape plays too slow
- "play" only starts after pressing and depressing "pause" (occurs randomly)
- Left channel is dead!!!! Set to Mono there is sometimes sound from the left channel, but with stereo: nothing at all.

any tipps? I would love to keep her.
