i got this for 85 bucks including shipping from LLopez. it's a really cool balance between size and sound. small, but jukes pretty good. one thing i really like about this unit is the switches are all real nice and solid feeling. the five band graphic is pretty handy. rca ins. real solid little design and sounds good. it sounds crisp and tight. full range except for the super low {~60hz}, on account of the speaker surface area i guess, but still a really nice sounding unit. it's a three piece but i never use that feature i like the focused sound of just the box itself. tape transport works perfectly. his packing job was stellar.
he also included this badass mixtape with planet rock and stuff like that on it. juking to that right now.
great hotel car carry around unit. best sounding small deck i have ever had.

thank you guys.

I like it - the more speakers, the better!

Congrats on the purchase.

:agree:

I think I have a Yorx boombox similar to that one. However, the two "speakers" on top are fake. I would love to hear one with four real speakers.

Really beautiful, could you tell me if there is a RCA or DIN Line-In present?

Room is always a problem, but this unit is small, it fits anywhere  (what a good excuse to but it! :-D )

Bobby. I had and sold this exact same boombox. This thing sounds nothing like a Yorx. It is an incredible sounding boombox and if I recall correctly -- it has 6 speakers, not 4. The volume and clarity belies it's small size. If you can find one of these in good shape, you won't be disappointed with it.

Why in the world would a company even go through the hassle of designing speakers on the top, if they were fake....Yorx WTF?

Yes, it has 6 speakers. 2 tweets, and 4 full-range speakers (I think.) I can't imagine that they would put mids on something this small. :hmmm: Don't know, though, because I can't get the speakers open to see (they're stripped.)

I have 2 of these Sanyo 6-speaker boomers, and Norm is right. For their size, they are great. I keep one in my bedroom on the nightstand.

The M7755's that I have don't have a graphic equalizer feature, though. That's a nice addition I wish I had. Metal tape capacity, too. That's a great buy!

Congrats! :breakdance:

Ohhh she's a beauty, that one! Top score, Danny!!

Did Sanyo make these in other colours too? I have a feeling I've seen red and white ones.. but perhaps they were the lesser Yorx version.

Rock On.

to the question about rca input/output yes. it's a hep little deal. i use it for a monitor for my dubbing deck. you know, it is very loud and clear, as a matter of fact.

the cool thing, as i listen, is the top end is crisp and detailed without it being overly bright {you know how sometimes the treble can sound like an icepick in your eardrum so to speak}

i like carrying it around because it'll jam but i don't feel like i'm carrying a brick
and again not to put too fine a point on it, i really like when switches and sliders feel really positive and not wobbly.
the switches feel really good. you know what i mean? like the sliders on the graphic don't wiggle from side to side, the fader moves up and down real solid.

the funny thing is, i took it in the car with someone that thinks it's dumb to have a jam box when there's an ipod in the car. and by the end of the ride, the person says "hey do you think you can find me one of those?"

if you buy a jam box from LLopez, be sure and ask for the free mixtape, that's the bomb. :breakdance:

that one may have been a sears or a ratshack version --
but it did sound and look NICE
