Hi, I have a Sanyo M9998 that needed new belts and which was sorted eventually thanks to Boomboxery members, when the unit was back together I was playing a few tapes and the small cassette cogs/ collars broke up ,are there any other tape players that use simular collars?

Yeah I had a similar issue on my M9998 when i fixed it up, i pinched one offf an Aiwa 950, the second one i have also has one missing so i will pinch the other off the Aiwa. I have loads of spare decks, i could try to find a spare that fits for ya.
For some reason they are always fragile on these and ready to crumble.

That would be good thanks ,I have seen some nice Sanyo walkmans on E bay with the same collars but I couldnt buy them to scrap it wouldnt feel right ,I need to find spares or repair stuff.
