Hi,I've got a Sanyo M9990K and I've never used the line in on this.
Is it the kind where you have to out a tape in and hit play/rec to make it work? There's no phono or line in switch that I know of so could someone tell me the best way to make line in work on this?!
Mine works great except the tape deck is a little slow, never really opened her up and investigated yet. Really like this, sounds great.😎

Push pause. No tape. Use your finger to push the tape switch inside the deck. Push play/record. Take finger off tape switch. Close cassette door.

That will get the VU meters swinging to the line-in signal level, not the speaker output signal.

Thanks Joe,I knew there was some trick to these as they don't have a designated line in/phono switch.
I'm going to try this out as I haven't given this boomer the attention it needs.
Yes rotation is key!!
Thanks again.
