Sanyo M9975

Finally a decent find - last weekend scored this Sanyo M9975. It was filthy when I brought her home so gave her a nice bath and it cleaned up quite nicely. No major scratches and everything works, most of the time. The tape deck sticks sometimes, belts will need replacing. I suspec the antenna was replaced, doesn't look original to the box.

My favorite part about this box - the tweeters.

Although not original to this box (or any boombox for that matter) it came with these cool mics. I like 'em!

Man, I love those speaker grille behind the mesh. That has TIE Fighter written all over it. How does it sound compared to something like the M9935? Is it about the same?

Nice find, that's a strong looker. I don't think to many of us would walk past that one.
I agree that's not the original antenna, that one looks like it's from a mid 80's to early 90's Sony.

its true to a point remember its not going to have the bass of the 9994 its a jump from some of the smaller m9970 its pretty loud, even thou it lacked some bells but for an average box its still good iwould call dibs on it also

Sound is ok plenty loud but nowhere near the 9994 though. Highs are ok but this one is lacking bass. Sounds best with line in but you have to activate the cassette record button to hear the line in.
I scored this at the Santa Cruz flea market. Love that place!
