I dissassembled my Sanyo M W717F to take a internal photo:
Some repair/disassembly notes and hints:
-This Sanyo boombox's front cabinet is easily removed in under 5 minutes (set uses philips head screws)
-Tuner section is easily removed, as is the 2 tape deck mechanisms
-Belt replacement requires that the 2 tape deck mechanisms be removed first
-Speakers and tweeters seem to be using soldered connectors
-To replace these, desoldering will be needed to remove the soldered connectors.
- Any replacement speakers or tweeters should have a similar soldered connector
-philips head screws hold each speaker in place on the front cabinet, while the tweeters can be removed easily (these seem to be held in place by some sort of adhesive
-The volume, graphic equalizer,mode selector and AM/FM switches are extremely easy to remove and and put back on
-Removing the main and top control boards can take some time as most internal parts have to be removed first:
*tuner section
* 2 tape deck mechanisms
* speaker and tweeter connectors need to be desoldered from the main board
*all knobs and switches
*power transformer
