Like the Titanic when it hit the iceberg this uncommon Sanyo turned up with a big hole in its side and on top.
A shame really as it’s was one of the last small Sanyo’s I’ve been looking for. A well specced and high quality box that sounds pretty good.
The weight for this is 6.74 kg! A Rising 20 20 is 7.62 kg. So it’s pretty dense despite its size. Due to the damage she is only working on DC at this point.

What a shame that the damage is on both the front and rear casings, hopefully somebody may have an old beater you can score or trade.
It looks great from the front shots.

Dear me, that's such a terrible thing to happen to a fantastic looking BB. All you need now is another one with a decent looking case and farked inside (just like me! :-D ). Good luck.

That sucks! How was the packing job by the seller?

The packing was bad. Box not big enough, no bubble wrap yada yada. I’ve already got a refund but that’s not the point as I bought it cheap anyway. It’s the rarity and the fact that this survivor of 35 odd years got ****ed up in one afternoon.

By the way. That iceberg put that hole in that ship exactly 107 years ago today.....

I remember Northerner fixed a Sharp GF-9000 some years ago with the same issues .
His work was amazing !! :-)
It was broken like yours
If you give it to him and he has the will to work on it then you might have a real survivor ! :-D
Or better if he shows you how to fix it and you have this same talent on your hands like him
that would be so nice to see this Sanyo M-W25 in one piece again, clean and doing its thing.
Damage is not that bad on the front case and you have the missing pieces from the rear.
I have the ''F'' version of the same unit and i love it.
Good luck with it , i am sure you are going to fix it .

Well then... I suggest you officially nickname the Sanyo the "Titanic." :-D

Doing so will automatically increase the value of it by 72%. 89% if it includes a nude drawing of Kate Winslet.

Yep seriously annoying. Happily fix it for you tho Rory. Won’t be as good as new but it’s an option

There’s a screw in the back casing that’s stuck. It’s stopping me from getting the back cover off to see why the AC isn’t working.

Boombox math. One in six boxes bought this way gets ****ed up in the post (for me anyway) I still think I’ll be able to sort this one out eventually. It had great potential. Not sure if you can hear it in the video but a nice crisp well rounded sound.
