Hi everyone so I've finally managed to get one of these beauties and I will be keeping it forever. All works but the tape player dose not play . It rewinds and fast forwards though but the heads do not rise when the play button is pushed. Shame as most of my old hip hop tapes are from the 80s and what I want to play on this beast . Any help please you fine gents and ladies.

I can't help you with your problem, just wanted to say congrats on this rare and beautiful box!

I am a big fan of turntable boxes and this one is definately on my list.

Congrats for this boombox. Looks very good.
To resolve problems you must open boombox and speakers too. I see that have problems with protective foam - it is unglued...
About cassette deck - opening, cleaning and many pictures posted here... good luck with restoration.
