Nice, just picked up an M9998L at an auction here in the UK for £40. Really tidy from the outside, but the tape will need some work (can't even open the tape door at the moment as the eject button has no effect, something must've come loose inside I guess.) Also one of the springs is missing in the battery section so I can only run it off AC power currently. But still it looks great and the radio at least works fine :)

Hi all, I’m brand new to this forum and just obtained a M9990 online and so far thrilled with its condition. I am looking to see if anyone has a copy of the User Manual and how do I test the battery strength to appear on the right VU meter. Thought it was the light button but didn’t do anything. I will also pay for the copy of manual...ty and thanks for this forum site. I loved my M9990 when I was 14, glad I found another. 1C3B51FA-575A-4F89-9E6F-DB91BE0F2DFC.jpegE0C9B708-CDBF-47D2-90A5-1839D789CBAB.jpeg2BB38CDC-DC8D-457B-9CB2-6CFBF149E934.jpeg

Does anyone have or know of anyone that has a copy of the User Manual for the M9990? If so gladly pay for a copy. Ty.
