Sorry it is not about boomboxes.

I was looking for a 9000 series Sansui speakers for a while and finally got one locally new in box!
I hooked it to my Marantz receiver and sounded Awesome!
It sounds awesome with the new generation receivers also.
It is a 6 speaker system with 16" woofer. The woofer surrounds are not foam.

First two pictures are not mine.

i bet these thump royce lad///i was looking to buy a pair of x9700 on ebay but there smoking weed as usual.....i just gave a friend my twin 15 inch speakers as im now getting my monitor audio repaired for christmas......congrats enjoy them dude :-) :beer2:

They are unbelievably loud and crisp! It was totally a whole different feel.
I had nothing much to clean but just wiped down the cabinet and the inner speaker area.


If anyone happen to find Sansui SP-X 9000 and above don't miss those speakers.
I disconnected it from the Marantz and hooked to one of my Denon set up.


This thing ROCKS! It is excellent for jazz. Those two super tweeters and two horn tweeters really do a great job!
