Hi! I would like an opinion about this device. How is the construction quality of tape mechanism? How about the sound? I found one wich is like new at 88 euro. Worth buying?

I assume you mean the "707."
Really nice unit and they sound great. I use mine in my bedroom because it has a rremote. The decks are nice and very responsive once they're serviced. It's a very serviceable unit, overall. My only hang-up is that you can't manually tune or switch to the aux source from the remote.
They also make a great outdoor TV audio source. They're bigger than you'd think if you've never seen one in person.

Wow - I was way off.

Never heard that one. Probably sounds really nice (as I make another assumption). I like the little CD window.
Just did a quick Google Image search. Looks like the construction and tear-down is very similar to the 707 and 75.

If it's as nice as the other Cobra Tops, I say go for it.

Yeah I've had a few Cobra Tops from lower end ones to the big ones and none have sounded anything other than excellent.

Yeah get it! They do sound great,near Bose quality sound.

The sound of the Cobra Pannies is very good. Does this model have a remote control capability and should this particular model have in illuminated display? If I had the chance to acquire one of these at a reasonable price then I'd take it.

Package finally came today. I am very impressed with this box.
The sound is very good even on audiotape. I made a recording on an old Racks audio tape from 1990 and sounds impeccable. It has absolutely no fizzle
Unfortunately not illuminated display but not a big problem. The remote is not original because there is USB and mp3 function on it

Thanks to everyone who advised me to buy it. It is absolutely impeccable, looks and works like new

I think only a handful of the higher-end Cobra Tops were equipped with a back-lit display.

Panny Cobras are the best! I have 95, rare one with 6 speakers. They sound so good!

I may be wrong but I thought all (or certainly most) of the Panny flip-tops had back-lit screens?

I think there is two RX DT07 models. Mine has different text on front MASH
