So I've had my GE 3-6025A for a couple weeks now, and initially it worked perfectly fine the first week or so. But then things took a turn and all of a sudden, the FM tuner tunes in like .1, .2, .3... instead of the standard odd numbers we have here in the US. Same thing with AM, it tunes in 9Khz segments instead of 10Khz like it did before. It will also no longer pick up stations on either band unlike before.

I gave it a week to sit and hoped the issue would be fixed by itself, but nope. Still there, and by this point all of the soft-touch buttons on the front of the unit don't work at all, or just barely.

I've tried it on both AC & batteries, mashed every button combination I could think of, tried sticking a paperclip into every hole I could see, and all this to no avail.

I'm stumped. Any clues or advice would be appreciated since I love this little burrito, and I want to see it work properly again.

Pull it down it maybe a poor connection PCB to PCB.
Possibly? AFAIK the board is packed with pin terminals and ribbon cables. I'll have to remove the stubborn slider knobs to seperate the housing. (Any tips/advice for removing sliders? Don't want to break them)

So I took the radio apart, only disassembled it so far because I didn't want to risk breaking anything or any adhesive for that matter. I noticed the one pin connector I reinserted had a bit of correction on a few of the pins, but I'd have to remove the tape deck and other boards to get to the other side of the pin cable.

Temporarily reassembling the radio and now the buttons act even more wacky. The 4th memory preset now tunes down, but the "stop" button in the middle returns to the highest FM/AM frequency. All the other buttons either don't work or tune the radio into an arbitrary station. 9Khz AM segments still persists.

This issue is so weird to me, I can't really describe it that well. I don't know if anyone would be able to repair it.
