Hey guys
picked this up off ebay.
missing knobs, antennea, and cassette keys.

Everything works on her except for the top tape deck. no biggie.
The seller will have feedback left in the ebay thread :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

box was 'wrapped' in a rug, then manilla folders-4 to be exact were placed on top of said rug.
here are some pics of me unboxing it :'-(
nothing major appears to have happened, there are smudges from the packaging, and scrapes. the decals on the box are very clean for their age, and I will be putting new chrome on it, as well as speakers and cassette keys. can't forget the antennea either. I may try putting dual antenneas on when I build up the courage

dang, joust finished reassembling the tape deck
Had to fiddle with it for an hour!!! darn thing didn't want to stay together long enough to pop everything back in place,
but I finally got the key holders and guide rod in!!!
then I parted my i 931 out, and installed the speakers, tweeters, chrome and grilles!

here are pics! I even recorded 'Goodbye horses' by Lazzarus to play on the lower tape deck! my brother was laughing his a$$ off.

My 3rd Edition does have the counter on it. Just as all Lasonics they made cutbacks to save money. Lasonic also had different manufacturers so not all are same. Just as now the I931's have different textures in the plastics. Some are smooth, some rough, some flat color and some shiny. Here's my minty 3rd Edition :-D

These don't have bad bass either! This thing loves the bass :afro:

Actually the speakers are pure white but the lighting was bad causing the look of Yellow  I also have reproduction decals available
