Here is the third box from the last month from Ebay, the Rising makes a solid impression ... the sound is ok, but not the best

Only vertical thing is the antenna (not counting the tape buttons)

This radio even has several AKAs (I own one of these by Brazilian extinct brand Polyvox, PA850 model).
Not a masterpiece in bass response, but rather has a good sound...

Nice looking box that would add to any collection, too bad so many boxes don't quite have the sound to back up the looks.
Still a worthy box to have on the shelf I'm sure.

I have the MONA version. Not a bad sounding box. Pretty well balanced at regular listening levels. Won't tire you out...

The tuner on that box pulls in a ton of stations.
I believe it is the same as the Mona MS-3030

When I brought my Rising PC 007 it was a surprise to see its size, I definitely thought in a bigger one. Looking the Rising in pictures, it's easy to imagine a big boombox. And regarding the sound, more or less the same, one could think in a powerful and deep bass boombox, but actually the sound is good and that's all. But I'm happy with my 007, soon I'm going to switch on this beauty and feed it with some music.
