Rising 20/20 sound problems

I'm not sure if this is an easy fix (and I feel like by now I should know how to trouble shoot for this. Anyways; My Rising 20/20 plays out of both speakers but the sound sounds shallow. There is no bass, it doesn't play loud really and overall just sounds like a cheap pair of headphones.

I know my 20/20 boxes really suffered from dirty switches/contacts. To properly spray these pots/switches, you need to open it up. It made mine sound like totally different blasters after I sprayed deox. No joke night and day difference. If you didn't try it, I say that is step #1.

LOLOL - I hope it is something simple.

Maybe there's an issue with the bass/treble circuit. I had to resolder a bass pot recently because it was intermittent, even though no cracks were visible in the solder joint.
