rising 20/20 battery mod question

hello everybody
i hope this is the right section for this..have a rising 20/20 that i decided to convert to use a lithium battery power pack insted of D batteries.i intend on following this youtube guide and using the same power pack as discribed in the video,but im not sure which would be the positive and negative wire going to the board (orange,red,brown).I'm hoping somebody who has done somwthing similar have some advice? than

The easiest way to tell positive and negative is to follow the wires coming off the battery springs back the power board. The springs and contacts inside the battery tray are one side + and the other side -.

my problem is the + and - wires which are red(+) and blue (-) are coming into a board with an interverter and going out with wires i cant seem to figure out which is the positive and negative which connect to the mainboard.Thats what stumps me

My goal here is to power the boombox with a lithium battery insted of D cell batteries

If boombox work with standard batteries, you don't need to modify or remove original power board.
You must connect new lithium battery pack to this blue (-) red (+) cables and that's all...

Thanks jvc floyd and goodman..i tried what goodman said and it did the trick.i had one more question if i wanted to change the speakers what would be a good set of speakers?
